District 5 sits in the northern part of Cathedral City, with general boundaries of 30th on the South, Landau on the West, Date Palm on the East, and the 10 freeway on the North. It also includes residential and commercial areas north of Vista Chino and west of Landau, including Verano and the eastern part of Rio Vista. Other neighborhoods in District 5 include Panorama and La Pasada.

We’re proud to be known for our Christmas lights on Minerva Rd (“Candy Cane Lane”), as the home of Rio Vista Elementary School, as the best place to trick-or-treat on Halloween, and for the family and dog-friendly Panorama Park.
